Sunday 13th July Aquathon

This Sunday is the last before the Easter break and we will be holding
a Club Aquathon at the swim session.

After a warm up, people will get into their lanes according to their
age groups and we will run the aquathon under race conditions, which
means, when you finish the swim you get into running gear as quickly as
possible and rund to track, where you will do the laps of the track.

For those juniors who took part in schools aquathon, it will be run the
same way. You should leave towel, trainers and T-shirt (shorts
optional)at pool side, change quickly and make you way safely down
stairs to exit to track.

Distances are as follows:

Age 8-10: swim 6 lengths. Run 2 laps.

Age 11-12: swim 10 lengths. Run 4 laps.

Age 13-15: swim 14 lengths. Run 6 laps.

The junior club will then be taking a break from training for a 3 week
period, which covers easter holidays and Liam Ball Triathlon.

Training will resume on Sunday 11th and will be geared towards building
towards our big event in June, details of which to follow soon.

On a different note, congratulations to all those juniors who completed
their Level 1 and 2 cycle competency in the last few weeks. If there
are any junior members still interested, let me know details and we
will try to get tainers back again.
