Congratulations & very well done

a massive congratulations and very well done to the 50+ junior triathletes who turned out today in buncrana at the charity aquathon . All athletes did their clubs, their families and most importantly themselves proud.

A big thank you also must go to race organiser Patrick McLaughlin who did a fantastic job including organising one of the best mornings weather wise this year. I'm not sure how he managed to pull it off but he did and did it in style. Next up for Patrick is Ironman Barcelona next Sunday and for that from all at the junior club we wish him the very best.

If today was your 1st multi sport event and you would like to get more involved the drop us a note to info@nwtcjnr.com, checkout www.nwtcjnr.com or come along to one of our training sessions 9am Sunday morning at the Templemore Sports Complex in Derry.

Sleep well athletes and see you next week at training.

Hello Triathletes,

Training will restart this Sunday morning 21st Sept @ 9am in the Complex. As usual we will start with a 40 minute swimming session then quickly be followed with a run this week. On this post you will find our training schedule until December 2014. We have designed the training and activity programme around all the events that we are aware of at this stage. Most of the events are all booked and scheduled but as we all know the weather can play a factor at this time of year so always check facebook (northwest triathlon) and this website www.nwtcjnr.com for updates.

Also to try and help with administration and finding loose change on a sunday morning we will be offering parents/guardians the opportunity to pay up front for this term as follows;

Pay £15 for 12 week programme, or £1.50pw.

non members of the nwtcjnr club going forward will be charged £2 per swim session

New members wishing to join in the swimming sessions Must be able to swim 4 lengths without stopping.
