Training 3rd April - SWIM ONLY

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back after your Easter break this Sunday is SWIM ONLY and Paddy, Gerard & Alvaro are looking forward to welcoming you all back into the water on Sunday morning. Usual time in the water and ready to go for 9.10am finish at 9.50am.

NW Schools Duathlon - March 20th 2016

Northwest Triathlon Club & Templemore Sports Complex What: Present the NW Schools Duathlon When: Sunday 20 March Where:Templemore Sports Complex

Details Registration 9.15-9.45am @ templemore in the main hall Cost is £5 per child Heat 1 starts at 10.30am Mountain bike and helmet required to take part.
Age groups Primary - 8-11 years
Secondary A - 12-13 years
Secondary B - 14-14 years Distances will be set on the day depending on conditions and event is a run followed by a cycle on grass followed by a run.
Trophies for 1-2-3 boys and girls in each group and refreshments provided post race.
Please spread the word and share amongst your contacts in clubs and schools as it would be great to have students from as many schools as possible from across the region.

Training 13th March

Hello Everyone, busy weekend ahead

SATURDAY 12th March
Foyle Hospice (Paula's Run)  Charity kids 1k or 5k Race in Gransha all proceeds will go to the Foyle Hospice. This is a great event, friendly atmosphere, fun event for everyone runners, walkers, strollers everyone welcome.

Kids Fun Run entry fee is £2 and starts @ 10.45am
5k Road Race entry fee is £7 and starts @ 11:00am

Spot Prizes and refreshments afterwards for all partipicants.

Everyone must register for their event, registration is from 9.30am to 10:40am in the U3A building in the Gransha grounds.

Please come out if you can and support this event & wear you NWTCJNR tops :-)

Sunday 13th March
Swim & Bike / Run @ the complex. The postponed duathlon will now take place on the 20th March (next week) so to give you a feel for what it will be like and to help you tune your duathlon engine this weeks session (after the swim) will be a bike and run session.

See you all on either Saturday or Sunday or Both.

Training March 6th - BIKE ONLY

Morning Everyone,

This weekend's planned Derry Schools Duathlon has been postponed until the 20th March and is now an open Duathlon,  open to any school or individual aged 8 - 15 boy or girl.

Good news everyone, due to us, the coaches being inundated with requests for another bike session this Sunday your request has been granted ! 9:45am meet in the Browning Drive car park across from the entrance to Ebrington and be ready to go for 10am.

We will most likely break into 3 groups Primary, Secondary A and Secondary B and cover routes in St Columbs park, Greenway & Gransha. The weather looks good as in dry but will most likely be a little cold so wrap up warm ESPECIALLY GLOVES !

We will head off at 10 and all be back in Ollies for 11 - last people / group back will most likely end up with no hot chocolate :-)
