Well Done on the Tryathlon & a 5k on wed 21st June
firstly MASSIVE congratulations to all the kids who completed and competed in the firmus energy City of Derry Kids Tryathlon last Sunday. The feedback from everyone who was there was that it was a fantastic event and all the images seem to capture the fun of the event and the day. There are too many people to thank individually so we will not attempt for fear of leaving someone out and being scolded :-). To everyone who helped out a Massive Massive thank you very much.
As parents, grandparents and guardians we hope you enjoyed watching your children taking part in a "strenuous" event but having it done in a friendly and supportive manner, at times these days too much pressure is put on children to perform or "win" that sometime the innocence or freedom to enjoy is lost. We certainly hope you witnessed children being children, in fact we witnessed some adults being children as well (just check the photographs). click here for photos
We hope you all enjoy your summer and keep up the training doesnt have to be anything too intense just run, jog, cycle, kick a football just keep active. There are tons and tons of photographs on the northwest Triathlon facebook page check them out here (photos)
